Don't make me come down there and wrastle it away from you! I'd put it down the toilet so fast, you'd never know what happened (until you needed a plummer)!

There, did that help?

Oh, how about this:

AREN'T YOUR THIGHS ALREADY IN THEIR OWN ZIP CODES???????

Ooooh, how about reverse psychology:

It's okay Doyd, just eat it all up and then there won't be an issue! Then you can just explain to all the little goblins that you're the real GOBBLIN' one in the neighborhood.

Don't open it! I repeat! DO NOT OPEN IT!

(TAFFY knows from past...okay from yesterday's experience)

Do not open the bag! The little candies just jump out and into your mouth!

Need to hide....must hide the 8 huge bags of candies for the 4 Halloween kids that I will get!

DON'T OPEN THE BAGS!

Am I the only one who no longer opens the doors on beggars night? I just hate the fact that I can no longer jump up and hand out goodies on Halloween.

I used to decorate the windows and DH and I and barking little dog would look forward to it. We always got what we liked and just bought extra and then hoped we didn't get too many beggars, so we could eat all the leftovers.

Eat hearty Doydie...LOL

Nope, Sal, I'm the same way. In fact, my dad has traditionally handed out quarters and this year I suggested that he stop since we are now connected to another whole neighborhood full of young families. On top of that, we're the 'good' neighborhood into which two trailer parks now dump off their kids. Nada, zip, no way!

I told the kids from our own neighborhood that anyone who knows Jack is welcome to use the 'secret' side door and come on in for some show-n-tell. He'll probably give them all dollars.

Of the 200+ kids last year, we knew about a dozen. Kind of puts a pooper on the fun if you ask me.

That makes me homesick for my apartment in the hall of the dead and dying!

I live on a dead end street with no lights out in the middle of nowhere. Around here, parents take their kids to the big subdivisions and drop them off. We aren't one of those places. Or they go to one of the school/church organized parties.

Default Candy

I live in a development and we have lots of kids. My daughter her husband a friend and her husband come over and hand out the candy to the kids. We order a pizza to eat and watch the Toms River Annual Halloween parade on TV. Been doing that for many years. I think this might be the last year. Even that puts to much pressure on me. I also have lost interest in it since my husband passed. Don't know what the future will be only God knows. EVERYONE HAVE A HAPPY HALLOWEEN Don't eat to much candy we don't wand the tummy aches. I should talk I am sweets.
