look what i found. it's called a Knork. i had seen it on the foodnetwork.
http://www.disabled-world.com/artman...sh/knork.shtml http://www.painreliever.com/Knork+Flatware.html the second shows pictures. Knork® Single Pack<A href="http://www.painreliever.com/knork_KN04B.html" tip> $5.42 Invaluable for those with hand mobility limitations, this revolutionary knife fork combination allows even the toughest foods to be cut safely using only one hand. i'm putting these on the christmas list. 5 years ago i had a storm window come crashing down on my wrists. at odd times i will lose the abilty to grip and drop things. especially if i am having to grip hard, like cutting.

Cool! This look like a great savior for Taffy also.
(no more trying to cut food with the fork and having it go flying off the plate!)

after i posted i thought about changing the title. i think they are something most people could use.
did you see the plastic ones? they would be awesome for any family gathering. no more trying to cut with a plastic knife and dropping the paper plate. i saw them using it on tv. cutting steak one handed. pretty cool. hey...and less silverware to wash!

Beth is so liking this knork idea. Gonna send the links to my family as gift ideas. It will certainly help me eat more, ... maybe it's not a good idea after all. No it's good. Need one for home and one to take with to gatherings.
Thanks Curious

Neato! I'm getting a couple too, must keep one in the car, I never know when free food might become available.
My savior has been the Maddox knife. It totally rocks (truly, it rocks like an Ulu knife). It can be ordered through PocketDresser (another cool tool). http://www.pocketdresser.com/product...3fb9c3751aae59

Overall, I'll give it a 5 out of 5, it does what it's supposed to do, is 18/10 stainless, has a good heft for the hand, and is comfortable to use.
