Northeast Ohio (Brunswick) is getting a Cabela's soon. I've heard such wonderful stories from you all, I can hardly wait.
Maybe I'll live in mine like AMN is in hers. :D It would be like being outdoors without the icky bugs and perfect temps all year round to boot. It's supposed to be a huge tourist attraction. It sounds more fun then the rolle costers at Cedar Point or the whatever that King's Island has. |
Yay!! boyfriend took me to Cabela's!
Tonight my boyfriend called and asked if I wanted to go shopping at Cabela's with him and his roommate.
Naturally, I said YES!!!!!!!! So, we're walking around in Cabela's, looking for stuff for him to get his family, and he was looking in one of the jewelry cases that has all the Black Hills Gold jewelry. He turned to me, and told me to look in the cases, and see if there was anything I liked. Told me to not worry about the cost. So, I looked, saw a few things but wasnt sure. We walked around for another hour, and then I decided to go look at shoes, and to look at Buck knives to see if there was anything exciting for me to buy for him at the knife counter. I walked past the jewelry cases again, and decided to look some more. Saw a nice pendant, asked the kid manning the cases how much it was. I figured it was too much ($60) and so I decided that I was going to tell him to not worry about it. He caught up with me again, and we did another lap around the store, ended back up at the jewelry cases because he was looking for a charm to give his niece. He asked me if there was anything I liked. I tried to tell him stuff was too expensive. He still asked me to point out what piece I liked. So, I showed him the pendant, it's called a 12 Leaf Circle of Life. (it's a circle made of silver, with 12 Black Hills Gold leaves going around the circle) He saw how much it was, and then apparently did the math in his head to see what his Cabela's discount would give him, and told the kid that he'd take it. So, I got a really really really nice piece of jewelry, and he only went $5 over the $30 budget we've been kind of unofficially sticking to when buying Christmas presents. Ohmygosh, I really really really really really really love this pendant. I think this is going to be my favorite present that I get this year. I only have one other piece of Black Hills Gold that I bought for myself when we went to the Black Hills last spring. I'm totally excited about this pendant, it's got to be one of the nicest pieces of jewelry anyone has ever bought me. Cabela's is totally cool. (and I guess, so is my boyfriend :D ) |
