Join us as we embark on our cyber cruise to beat the holiday blues!


Okay, everyone, we're up to 10 staterooms, I think. This will be great, we're taking the 10-day western Caribbean sail out of Cape Canaveral. Our ports of call will be Key West, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, and Freeport.

Grab your gear and meet me on the dock Dec. 26 at 3:00pm for boarding and the bon voyage party on the Limbo deck. It's sure to please anyone who likes an umbrella in their drinks... or eyes (depending on how many drinks are involved). We sail through the night so this will be our opportunity to enjoy the ship's offerings. I've also scheduled a scooter race on deck 3 Aft for midnight. Be there.

We've been asked to participate in the passengers talent show, so let's hear what you all plan to perform once we're asail.

I have consented to bring along my one-man-band set-up with which I will perform a medley of famous Sousa marches.

Tappy has graciously offered to do a snake-charming dance, Sal will trip the light fantastic as only she can, and we want everyone to come celebrate their special gifts with the audience.

So, get packed and ready, we're going for a boat ride!

Notice: The first person who starts singing the Love Boat theme will be thrown in the pool by every one of us!

I am so in on this! The only gear I am packing is my toothbrush, my swimsuit, sunscreen, and short and t-shirts. Otherwise, nothing. Maybe some flipflops. Keep my feet from getting scorched on the deck! And a couple of good books to read. Packing light!


My entertainment will be dancing on the table! Ha ha ha! Do I have a partner??? Is RW coming along? Have we heard from Yabbit yet? Oh what the heck, I can dance alone! Surfing to the Beach Boys!

I want to go as we love to go on cruises. Because of mobility problems we really like to enjoy everything the ship has to offer.

BTW, you can't have a Christmas Cruise without a Santa Clause in attendance, right? Don't even tell me you forgot about me..........

I want to be in the men's nightgown contest. I would have won first place on my first Carnival cruise back in '85 had I been willing to shave my very hairy legs....................no way was I going to do that.

I will be arriving on the cruise late as I will be out of town visiting my daughter, husband, and grandsons for Christmas. Also, my son is flying in from Chicago to spend Christmas with us so I will have the whole family together this year. Wooo Hooo!

Good deal! It looks like we're getting a good group together. Craig, of course Santy Claus can come stay with us. What will you be performing in the talent show?

Sidebar: Years ago, I played catcher in a highly competitive softball league. My pitcher and I were not above anything when it came to winning and I used to sing that song during batters ups, and they couldn't stop me 'cuz it wasn't against any rules. We won the tournament that year in a shut-out! LOL, good times.
