Crazy I am soooo exhausted!

Well, I hope everyone had a nice Christmas and is enjoying the season. Not too many returns I hope?

I visited with my daughter, her husband, and two grandsons for the holiday from Sunday through this morning and then we traveled two hours back to Richmond. On the day after Christmas I slept for about 15 hours. Got up at 12:00 noon and back to bed by 12:40pm and slept until 3:30pm. After getting up early this morning to say goodbye to my daughter and grandsons, the trip home, I'm exhausted, sore, and very weak. We stayed over an extra night and I didn't have any of my meds for the extra night and today with me. Boy, can I tell it now!

I know it will take me through the weekend to recover. I went to Great Clips and had my beard shaved off. The girl had so much fun doing it she only charged me $5. I gave her a $2 tip. My wife hated the beard but wanted me to keep my long hair and put it into a ponytail. I think I look rediculous but she loves it, so I will keep the long hair for a while to see if I get used to it.

Have to go to a movie and dinner this evening and then get up early again tomarrow to take my son, who is visiting from Chicago, back to the airport so he can catch his flight to Las Vegas where he will be celebrating the New Year with many of his college buddies. Maybe then I can get some down time and recover. Don't get me wrong, we had an awesome Christmas holiday and it was nice having the whole family together.

Keep powering through the holidays but try not to overdue. Like I'm NOT preaching to the chior here or what?

I'm exhausted too. My dad has had a cold since last week, that developed into pneumonia over the weekend (my dad seems to get that every year) and last night, I started to get cold symptoms (so far, just the gooey sniffles and a really mild cough)

but I'm totally knocked out today. I've just sat and slept or watched the news about Benezir Bhutto getting assassinated this morning. I tried to crochet and knit, but kept falling asleep...so I gave up and just slept.

Now I'm awake and gooey sniffling...and feeling a lot ickier than I did this morning.

I hate having colds!! (I hate the MS worse tho)

At least if I start feeling worse than having just a cold, I'll actually go to the doctor to get checked over. My dad doesnt go to doctors unless he's really bad. (and I had to kidnap him to take him to a doctor last year and get him inhalers and other stuff to get him past the mild pneumonia he had then)

This year, my aunt (a nurse practitioner) was here the other day and told him he needed abx's...and I just happened to have a bottle of the ones he needed. He's a lot better today than he was sunday. The abx's worked. (I wish I could have gotten him to a doctor tho. I think we're lucky my aunt was probably right)

I'm right there with you, Craig. I haven't had an MS fatigue attack since I started LDN, but I'm having one now. I just can't get enough sleep or enough rest.

I'm just hanging in there and hoping it goes away soon...for both of us.

I'll bet it feels good to have all that hair off of your face.

With having our christmas here at my house on Saturday, I know I'm going to be feeling like that on Sunday. I am so proud of my kids and grandkids and want to show them off at church Sunday but I fear I won't be getting out of bed much. To bad.

Sounds like it's a GOOD sort of tired, Craig!

I have been off work since 12/20 and I have slept more in the past week than I have slept in a year!! I don't think I should take any more vacations! I never get anything done!

Default Me Too!

I'm feeling crappy too. Hurt all over and just feel MSssy. My daughter came in (or tried) thru Chicago with all the high winds that delayed everything. Yesterday she was to leave but all planes grounded due to snow....then today she was to get another early flight and we all over slept! Oh my!
By the way....Santa looks awesome!

Feeling better today but still a tad tired. Went to bed last night at 9pm and got up at 10:30am this morning. Did feel a bit more rested and plan on spending the day on the Internet and watching some college bowl games before watching the Pats tonight.

Still have a tad of the hangover effect but better today.
