Hey Jappy...take care of yourself, will you! Don't want you getting sick again. Rest, liquids....hmm...that's what I am doing! Have you called the doc yet?

When does Sage have her surgery?

Well, I woke up to more SNOW, this morning. I have to admit, it's beautiful, but I'm getting cabin fever.

Hi MSCherokee, where in Ohio...I'm in Kettering. Did it snow where you are. I'm so sorry about your ON.. I've only been blessed with ON once in my 44 years with MS, so I consider myself lucky. Are you on a DMD? If not try LDN....some people say it helps with the eyes. Feel better..

Hi herekitty/Kelly. One of our lovely members, Chris resides in Atlanta and has been showing us pictures of her beautiful snowfalls there, lately and says it was 20 degrees there yesterday.. She is orig from England, so she knows snow, but Georgia doesn't..LOL.

So sorry about your long time flare.. and the cold doesnt help, I suppose. I hope it dwindles in intensity soon and you fell more like yourself, sooner than later....and of course you were complaining and rightfully so. I so understand.

Oh Krohe, so sorry about your Mother and I wish her the best outcome after her operation. I understand the stress you are under. My worst exacerbation ever, came when My Mother was DX with Lung Cancer in 1992. Up til that time my MS was pretty mild.

Try to stay calm...take deep breaths. If you are not on an AD, I suggest you ask Doc for one. I wish I had been on one. I didn't get one til later and I found out how wonderful they can be. Sending Prayers and hugs..

We all need to vent once in awhile, FinLady, it helps keep us sane. Venting here is better, since we all understand and sometimes Family just doesn't get it..

I'm pretty numb and tingly and spastic, too. It just never really goes away but I am happy for my blessings as well, Finlady. Feel better soon..

NEXT..........

Joyce sweety, so sorry you are feeling poorly and yes get thyself to your Doc for some Meds and TLC. I hope sage comes through like a champ and I know he will. Just give him lots of love and strokes for a day and he'll quit staring at you, after awhile..hehe!!

Cheryl, how are your eyes, nose, ears and throat feeling today. Dang sinuses. I'm considering a Sinus transplant, how about you. I hate to say this but you need to beef up your immune system.

Take special care of yourself and keep Holly close...He knows how to heal..

okay, guess I'm next up to bat!

I'm SPMS, and not on any DMDs, just attempting healthy living, and taking things easy and slow.

spent the morning trying to put my house back together after guests... changing bed linens, and straightening up.

then I met with my contractor, and marked all the spots for the grab bars (two in the shower, on each side of the tiled bench, and one on each side of the bidet and toilet)

while going about to feed the guinea pigs, rabbits, and ducks, I noticed my left leg's still dragging a bit... and if I stand still, I start to feel like The Leaning Tower of Pisa!

oddly enough, besides the leg-drag, the numbness, the fatigue, and the double vision, the MS isn't my main issue at the moment... it's my neck and back aching, and a low-grade headache.

see, after 20 years of this, I can usually handle most of the fun stuff MS throws at me, but when back pain is added to the mix... yikes!

trying to be cheerful and friendly, and keep stuff running on a farm, well, I guess I'm just a bit FRAYED around the edges!

Sally,

I live in Union - we're probably about 20 miles apart.

It sure did snow this morning, starting around 5 a.m. The 70/75 interchange was completely shut down for a while this morning and since traffic was rerouted to the side streets, I was a few minutes late to work. You probably woke up to the same weather this morning.

I was on Avonex for 2-1/2 years but it became a poison to my body. It was so bad I was close to filing for SSDI thinking it was my MS. Been DMD free since 2004 and this is my first exacerbation - my first three bouts of ON were right before and during the time I was on Avonex.

I'd love to try LDN but my neuro refuses to prescribe it. <sigh>

My turn., mt turn. I'm RRMS and have been on Avonex for 2 years. Seems to be doing fine for me. Oddly (or not) I have never shared my symptoms with anyone except my neuro since diagnosis. I don't know why, anyone want to take a stab at that? It drives my family crazy.

I have had pain in my feet and hands for years that seems to be getting worse recently. I have also been getting very sharp location specific (like the tip of one finger or the arch of the foot) pain lasting for maybe a minute or less.

I did spend Saturday standing on concrete in a freezing cold warehouse for about 8 hours and am paying for it now. I hate that it takes so long to recover from a little activity.

MS wise, I'm doing OK today.

I have cement blocks where my legs used to be, but apart from that, I'm doing OK. How's everyone else?
