hodunno, Jappy. It worked for me!

If you go to the main MS page and look way up there, just under your PrivateMessage and mood things, you'll see the new MS Social Chat Forum, and it's in there.

I am glad that Sage is doing ok, too! Those lil furbabies have a way of getting to us. I hated to leave my 2 at home today. Give her a treat for me.

Also glad Holly is doing better, FG. Bet she was glad to get those darn staples out... Give Holly a couple dzn treats, she's bigger...

Hey everyone!

Trying to catch up here, my sleep schedule is waaaay out of whack this week and it seems when I am home and not occupied in the minutiae of daily living, I am falling asleep. I am hoping it's because of the change in the light now that we have sun earlier and later each day, that's always affected me at this time of year!

Jappy!- So happy to hear that Sage came through the surgery and is home! The furbabies ARE our babies! I know I worry about mine whenever anything seems out of character for him.

Erin!- I am with you on the whole "reality show" thing. I don't know why, I simply cannot watch them. I find myself just flipping through channel after channel, searching for ANYTHING that will feed my mind and not my disgust at the exploitation and dignity shredding that goes on ( with the participants' cooperation!) I watch reruns and history/ documentaries all the time now!

As for the mod thing on your crochet board? Kudos to you for even being a mod, along with everyone else who takes on that job! It takes a special kind of person and I know I wouldn't be able to do it! Let that woman roll off your back like water and remember that you cannot please all of the people all of the time!

Beth!- You sound like you are being kept VERY busy! I went through my Dad's illness with him, running back and forth between Maine and Massachusetts, cooking meals ahead for him and doing laundry, chores, cleaning, shopping, etc. and then speeding home and doing it for my own home and still working full time nights! The only advice I have is don't forget about YOU! Rest when you can, don't sweat the small stuff and try to enjoy the time you are spending with Dad. Time is short and when everything is over, you won't remember the hard stuff, you'l remember the quiet conversations and the little moments that you shared.

Doydie!- I so totally understand the sleeping thing! I am all backwards and sideways on my sleep right now! The weather is getting to me too. If it's not below zero with howling winds it's snowing right when I have to drive to work!! I chose to work nights just so I wouldn't have a lot of traffic to deal with, but when it's snowing I WANT the traffic so someone will be out there if something should happen to me while driving!

I also understand the missing the socialization. I have no year round neighbors, there are times when the only person I see for days is the old man and that gets OLD! I used to work 4 jobs, teach classes, VP of a volunteer ambulance, training officer, and keep up all my certs, and work full time plus! In many ways I like the change but there's so much I miss and being social is one. I guess that's why I like it here so much!! I get all of you! I'm happy to hear you will see the grands in a few weeks, they grow so fast and you deserve this time with them too!

Chris!- If you need any more snow, let me know, My brother is an over the road driver and we will ship down an 20 foot snow bank for you!

As for the secret handshake, we can show it to you but then we would have to...naaaaaah...we LIKE YOU!

Sal!- You are one of the people I am happy to see every day!! You are always so positive and your sense of humor slays me! You always seem to roll with the punches with a smile and a good word for everyone and I thank you for that!

Now...as for Nappy, Flappy, Tappy, Yappy and dopey..I mean dippy, ooops ( Tinky?)...I mean Dimmy...You special kids...I can't say enough good about you so I won't say anything at all!!!

It HAS been busy on the board and I am trying to keep up too, while investigating the places I have never looked in before! I think it's good that more people are here, it sort of makes me look around more and follow people to see what they are doing and when I do that I get more involved here too!!

Thanks Everybody for that

( a special note for Yappy, You are doing an EXCEPTIONAL JOB!! Everytime I go somewhere new, I see your responses and gentle reminders and helpful hints to the new folks! You are amazing!)

HI Everyone:

Sage is home. She got stomach sick about an hour after we were home, but is OK now.

CHERYL so far so good with the licking of the stitches. As you were saying about Holly the jumping, that's what Sage keeps wanting to do. How is Holly doing?

Missed reading and talking to everyone today. When I came on I didn't notice any new posts of our small family, unless I just missed finding you guys.

Take care Jappy

But, Rappy, then you'd be an ippy, not an appy, and everyone knows it's the appies who have stars on their bellies!

Hiya, Jappy! I'm so glad Sage is home and doing well now. I'm sure it makes you feel much better too.

I know what you mean, our little micro-community has expanded like a balloon! We're kind of all over the place, but I always look for you and Sal, and Doyd, and Beth, and Erin and... oh, Auntie Em, there's no place like home. Oops, sorry, I thought I saw a curtain go up.

You didn't tell us how you are doing, Joyce, how is the bod holding up today?

I am holding. THANK YOU

Truthfully I feel like I am going to drop. I am having the jittery, shaking feeling in my insides. I hate when that feeling comes around. When that starts the rest of the body problems act up.

Its only 7:15 pm but tonight I am going to try and go to bed early.
