Thanks, mX7. I hope they figure out what is going on with you soon, too. How are you feeling today?

Thank you, I have this awful pain from lower belly area (left side) down the front of my left thigh, it seams to be a "bowel thing" :icon_redface: I know my neuro, if I call him he's going to say "call my OBGYN or PCP, it doesn't sound like a neuralgic thing".
I still have this cold I have had all week but it's getting better.

I hope you are feeling better soon  Probably too personal, but have you had a BM recently? I get pain like that when I am pretty backed up  Never the less, call someone about the pain.

Way too recently,http://i90.photobucket.com/albums/k2...ky/biggrin.gif like 5 times in the last hour. I have IBS and go from one extreme to the other.

 Well, then, disregard my backed up theory!

That's great, MamaMonkey!!! :)

"It's all in your head". GAWD!
This is why I hate doctors. (No offense DocJohn... you I like:hug:... and having a 6'4" 300+ lbs. unhinged gorilla named Moose on your side is usually a good thing).:)

Where's my pills...?

Anyhowitzer! Back to you. A little verbal Judo is in order when people hit you with that phrase: Show them your MRIs. "See?! All those little spots? It is all in my head!"

Really glad you've got a doc in your corner. It can make all the difference.

How refreshing to read a post such as your Mama!:D

I'm so glad things have worked out for you and you are being taken seriously about your symptoms. So nice to have a neuro that listens and responds in a progressive and aggressive manner.

Keep us informed.

Ditto to what everyone else said! :)

Jane--I think you should ask that neurologist if he's "just an unfulfilled doctor" wishing he were a human being instead!

Why do TOO MANY men have this incredibly arrogant assumption that they know what a woman needs, what's inside of her? I bet HE'S unfulfilled in a way I won't mention!

(No offense to the many wonderful men who treat other people, including women and kids, like real, equal human beings.)

I'm sorry about your diagnosis, but I'm glad you were referred to a good doc by the NMSS. I was also referred to a wonderful doc when we moved here. Although I had been diagnosed for years, I feel like this Neurologist is the first one who really takes the time to listen to me and takes an interest in me as a person, and not just as a person with a chronic disease.
