Thanks all for your replies. This all started a couple of years ago with numbness in one toe, and slowly progressed to this. But this is just scary. What' s next, how far will it go and how fast will it progress.

I have just started Lyrica and take 450 a day and will up it to 600 soon. the jelly knees is a new one, and am wondering how much the RSD is a contributor to all of this.

I will try those stretches. Thank you.

I'm having an MRI at 4:30 this morning. So I have to stay up all night. Fun. I hope someone will be in a chat room.

I used to be able to pick up a pencil with my toes, but now I can hardly bend them.

Anyways that's my story and I'm sticking to it !

thanks
To answer your question, yes. Stand on tiptoes? I'm not even gonna try...

These problems started in the mid 90's (I've had MS for 20 years). It's gotten progressively worse, albeit slowly. I wear cheap canvas deck shoes so I can "feel" the ground when I walk. I'm still walking fortunately, and nobody knows I have MS.

I have similar problems in my left foot and lower leg ( i only have a left leg!) and there is not much that we can do about the numbness, that leg is also weaker than it used to be and i have a bit of foot drop ( an AFO helps that). I also have RSD, and knowing the insidious nature of the condition, i suspect that that is likely to be having an impact too- do you have any of the skin changes, nail changes etc that go with RSD?? Lyrica has helped me deal with the RSD, its not perfect but it is an improvement
