You may want to have the radiologist sign an agreement that they'll never retire, move offices, leave town, etc. This radiologist is a definite keeper! :D

Or change their compasssion and demeanor towards clients!!

Good for you Bearygood!!

that was a rare dr you got.
and apparently a great facility as well.

if you ever get another mri ask for this radiologist to read your films (he will be familiar with your case).

i hope your f/u appt goes as well.
and, thanks for the info you posted.

Beary,

What a great thing to get a phone call and answers to your questions!:)

There is nothing better than connecting with a good doctor or professional who will treat you like a person.:) So many of them treat us like our test results are none of our business and we should just do as we are told.

I am thrilled about your good conversation and finding some answers you were looking for.:):D

Ha! I joked with a friend later that evening that I should've asked him if he was single! :D

I'll definitely update if I learn anything new about the lesions lighting up. I'm a "fact-check" kind of gal so I'll definitely be asking my doctors about this as well. (And if anyone else does, please post!)

Happy for you!

It is such a comfort to have your medical team reach out like that. I was amazed with the first call I got directly from my neuro.... just couldn't believe it. It gave me a sense of confidence... I am happy for you!

Thanks for sharing this! It is comforting to know that some health professionals are still passionate about their field and realize that it's human beings they are dealing with.

I'd have thought for sure it was some friend pulling a prank. :D
