He did a few test and was quiet and then he said - I am moving you from Possible MS to Probable MS. He said the with L'Hermittes (spelling sorry?) that occurred and some of the newest sx he is moving me up the ladder of Limbo Land. He was very good and explained things and answered all my questions. We took our time and I thought things through.

So the plan - I am going to see him again in April and May he is going to do another full MRI to see if anything has changed. We will keep in contact with each other and if anything changes with me I will let him know ASAP.

Thanks Everyone! I feel better knowing that someone believes me - and truly feels what is wrong with me!

Oh, I'm so glad that the visit went well and you feel that you're begin heard. Although I know you don't want to have MS you DO want to have a dx for whatever it is so that you can move forward with a treatment plan. I'm glad he took time with you and answered all your questions. I like to get the first appointment of the day for that reason - the doctor doesn't have a chance to get sidetracked with other patients and their symptoms and I am the first one he sees that day.

Please keep us posted on the results of the tests.

Hi Char,

I know this is an agonizing process. I only had to go through it for five months, but it was tough! I felt like I had a dark cloud hanging over me, like I needed to be treated for what was going on, but my first neuro didn't know how to diagnose with the modern methods.

I hope you can get a definitive answer so that you can either start treatment if that's your plan, or at least rest knowing what it is so you can tackle it and deal with it in your own ways.

So sorry...

Oh, Yeahbut (love the name!)....

That sounds much better to be up the ladder, but of course not good enough.... As much as I hate my dx, I'd hate it more to be in limboland, so to speak. :(

Of course, if you'd like my dx, you can take it. I'd much prefer to go back to my original thought that I have a pinched nerve (or my fave was someone who thought I had a sinus infection!) :Crazy 2:

So, with a probable dx, you can't start treatment, huh?

It's such a bitter-sweet thing when the doctor confirms things for us.

At least you can rest and know "it's not all in your head".
