Heart I went to my pcp today, and she said.....

Ok as some of u might already know,I have been having some issues with my ms over the last month.

Ok,I finally went to see my pcp, cause my car has been messing up,and I cant make it to my neuro right now.
I told my pcp about the weakness, off balance, overweling fatiuge,my face is burning, and the memory problems have been so much worse over the last month. And she said that I am possibly in a relapse..
So she went on to check my lungs, and I have bronchitis,ok the bronchitis is what is excerbating all my sx then. So she put me on predisone, and anitbiotics, and told me that if its not better my the first of the week I really do need to get into my neuro, cause it could possibly be a flare.

I knew I have felt like crap over the months, but I was playing it off as it all in my head, and im overreacting.
But I guess not huh.
I sure do hope that the roids kick the ms in the butt, and it dont turn into a flare.

hugs,
alyson

((((Alyson))))..I hope the steroids and antibiotics do the trick. It can be so difficult to determine what's MS and what's not. I'm terribly guilty of not checking into stuff as much as I should, because I figure it's just MS and docs can't do any more for it anyway..Usually end up feeling really stupid in the end, but does that stop me? Nooo..
Feel better soon!

I'm the same way.

I haven't been feel right. Hard to explain but it seems like my lungs burn when I'm working out so I can't do as much cardio as I was able to. Been going on for 3 weeks now.

I wasn't going to mention it to my MS doc when I went in for my check up but I decided I might as well tell him. He did a chest xray and said everything looked fine.

So I guess it's just something the MS is doing. Just hoping it'll go away.

Hope you're feeling better soon mommy

Oh man..You do CARDIO?
They'd be scraping me off the floor. Glad it doesn't sound serious (the burning lung problem), but hope it clears up soon..At least you went and checked it out!

I still have my mobility so I've been able to do light cardio...until now.

Oh well....

I'm really fighting to keep as much physical ability as possible. It's getting so tiring tho....
