Default Why is it always on a weekend?

Argh! I think I'm going to have to call my neuro and ask if this is something that can wait till monday, or if I should have this checked out now.

Last night, my right eye started to hurt when I look side-to-side. (ut-oh!) Today my eyes feel weird, but there arent any blind spots or anything keeping me from seeing. I do have a slight headache behind my right eye.

I'm really hoping this isnt another optic neuritis.

I just want to know why new or recurrent symptoms always seem to happen during the weekend when the ER is really expensive and sometimes busy. Why cant the MS Trolls mess with my neurons bright and early on monday morning, so that I can at least call the doctor's office and not have to go thru the answering service.

*grumble* stupid MS!

let's see what others think about this.
of course, a phone call never hurts anything.

Erin
I don't understand why we flare when docs are out of the office either.

Does your neuro have an on call doc you can get in touch with? I hope it's not ON. Just keep notes on your sx and bright and early Monday make that call.

I hope it's not ON either.

I took a Midrin (migraine med) and the headache is going away, but my eye still hurts when I move it side-to-side. It doesnt hurt anywhere near like what my left eye did the first time I had ON, that hurt so bad that I could barely move.

I hope this is just a migraine.

I think I'll wait to call the neuro. If it hurts more tomorrow, or if I have any weird vision problems, I'll call him.

I dont seem to have any weird vision stuff going on, my right eye just feels a little weird...like someone is tugging on something behind my eye.

This MS crap is really freaking annoying...and when I say "freaking", I really mean another word that begins with the letter "F".

The other word, is it Fracking?

I can't believe I'm say this but, I hope it's a migraine too.

Hee hee! Yeah - why always Friday? And why Friday's at the beginning of a 3 day weekend?

I dread 3 day weekends. I always get the bad news on a Friday before a 3 day weekend. Strange...

Nope...not "fracking", try another word that begins with "F"...rhymes with duck, luck, muck...

I think the Midrin is working. It still hurts to look to the side, but it's not as painful as it was a few hours ago. Maybe this is related to the insomnia that I've been having? But, if things are worse tomorrow, I'll be calling either my neuro or the opthalmologist. (maybe both)
