Default Hugs~!

So sorry you are going through all this.

But this gets my dander up regarding MEDS. Many have more side effects than what you are being treated for !! ANd I am a therapist !!!

I believe if we really listen we can learn from our own bodies. So if Prozac is
NOT the med for you then dont take it.

I use a rather unique product that has ST. John's Wort in it, in capsule form that also has "calming" ingredients that come from plants/flowers with these calming elements naturally. ( called INNER SUN, from 4LIfe or Luminex by Melalueca)

IT works RiGHT AWAY!!! And.. I ONLY take it when I need it so there is no BUILD up which can be toxic. Now MD's esp psychiatrists dont believe in St. John's Wort saying its not good for Major Depression and with meds.I have had NO reaction to whatever med I was on and I like how it takes me from hysterical or mad to a calm, serene thinking person. But thats what I do.

Hope you find your answers and soon !!

Warmly Jan

Sue, sounds like it may be time to find another doctor. Each AD is different for everyone as you know. Prozac has been known to cause the zombie effect in some and that is not doing anyone any good right? I just cannot understand some doctors thinking. Why would they put you on something you know doesn't work? Ugh. Keep us posted.
