Default anyone else talk to themself?

maybe its just because i have a lot on my mind these days.. but i have found myself talking to myself quite a bit anymore when i am alone or working on something.. (course i also talk to my dogs like they are people.. as if they have any idea what i am saying to them.. but at least they look interested LOL )

like when driving today i kept yammering on about how much i hate our snow blower.. and trying to figure out what i am gonna say to the shop i bought it from... its brand new and has been in for repairs more then it has been at our house.. nothing wacky or anything.. i guess you could call it thinking out loud.. or trying to work my problems out... out loud... but i just hope i am not the only one.. MS or not it makes me feel a little nuts that i do that..

Yep, and it drives hubby crazy at times! I talk to myself at work, but then again so does my supervisor. But yeah, I work out problems out loud. For whatever reason when I verbalize it I can come to a solution much easier.

All Day long, every day. It will start in my head, but before it's over, I'm having a whole conversation out loud, with myself.

Yes, I am a self talker. I find that when I really want to hear something running through my head, saying it aloud, stops the chatter and gives me a perspective I wasn't getting with the thought/problem rattling in my head.

Ok, it sounds goofy, but so what. If I'm goofy I can live with it, cuz it works for me.

Anyone else?

Yes indeed. It seems to help me focus, keep my mind from wandering off to parts unknown. Drives my husband crazy, which is another plus.

On the bright side, at least you know you are doing it. I have been told I talk to myself, but I don't recall that. I do know that I make expresive faces sometimes when I am thinking (or perhaps talking to myself). I must look really wierd hen I'm out in public when I'm out in public by myself.

My mind races so much I start talking to myself. I don't say anything out loud - I just move my lips. It doesn't matter who is around.

Not only that: I will ask a question and answer it!

Sometimes it's the best conversation I had all day!!

Well, I certainly don't think your'e crazy or anything, cuz if you are for talking to yourself, then I am waaaaay out there.

I find myself talking to myself in my car all the time. Actually, I'm talking to a higher up or sometimes to my Mother who has passed on.

Sometimes, if I don't want to forget something, I will say it out loud to myself, so I don't forget it. I even talk to my dogs.

We're normal, right??
