I don't know yet, I just toke one about 10 minutes ago because I have an awful headache now.
I "feel" like I'm running a temp so I keep checking and it's only 98.0, I run low tho (97.5 most of the time), so now I'm setting here waiting on the pain pill to kick in or the temp to go up or even both.

The whole pain rolling down me thing has slowed a little move but happens almost every time I move now.

I've never heard of this description of pain, so i googled "chill bumps pain" and found a posting by someone saying something similar. Coincidentally, it's written by a "julie" too, several years ago, and the answer was that is it is likely a symptom of some kind of "peripheral nerve disease".

OK, now I really want to cry. I have a spot that I get recurring shingles and the pain I get with it is the same kind of pain I have now.

I know I don't have diabetes tho, I have had hypoglycemic from childhood and 3 years ago were IR after being DX with PCOS so I have a meter and check my self andy time I feel I need to.


I don't want to jump to any conclusions but this would explain a lot of my pain and a few odd things. I didn't see numbness listed tho or con fog/memory loss, LOL.


Oh wait, my neuro did that EMG test on me because my last Dr. said neuropathy pain (that's way I was on the Lyrica) and after the test my neuro said I did NOT have neuropathy.

Well I found out you can get chill bumps (or goose bumps, what ever you want to call them) from pain.

So I had pain rolling down my body over and over again and most of the times was getting the chill bumps at the same time. I still don't understand why the "rolling pain" was coming over and over agin.
I have had pain roll down me before but never over and over for so long. Most of the time the pain would roll down me 3-4 times tops.

I have looked and looked and I can't find this associated with fibro. :confused:

Oh and I toke the pain pill yesterday and it did nothing for the pain, oddly tho the chill bumps stopped coming a little over an hour after I toke the pill. But I still had the rolling pain about 2 a minute for a few more hours.



Forgot to say the pain hasn't stop completely, I'm still having this pain roll down me but it's not coming very often now (only happened 3 times so far today).

Although I've never heard it described exactly as you have, there's lots out there on similar symptoms with Fb, i.e. some of the most common symptoms with Fb include: tingling, numbness, skin sensitivities, etc:

Funny, I thought of this thread when I was watching a creepy program last night. I am currently numb in various parts of my body, and when I got totally spooked :eek: by something on the show, my goose bumps jumped to attention. I felt them in a different way then usual in my numb areas . . . so maybe it is a combination of neuropathy with anxiety/fear that is making this so difficult for you right now . . .?

I was sure I did have neuropathy (after all my last Dr for 2 years was treating me for it and said I had it) but than when my neuro did the EMG he said "NO, I didn't have neuropathy", so now I'm wondering if you can have a "nerve pain issue" that would be negative on a EMG test. :confused:

All I know is I have pain (feels like nerve pain to me) a lot that pain meds don't help with (even Lyrica) and now all this numbness is making things harder for me.

I'm having more burning pain now than I have ever had.

The tinnitus is really getting to me.

My memory is SO bad now.

For the 1st time yesterday I was having a hard time driving because my right foot was partly numb and tingling and I couldn't tell how much I was even pushing the peddle. :(

I still don't have all the feeling back in my lower body and it's been about 9 weeks now. :(

LOL, I feel like checking my shelf in the hospital and telling them I'm not leaving and they "fix" me, LOL. They might not be able to DX with with anything but I know I'm broken some how.

If you find a hospital that can fix these types of problems, I'll be on the very next flight. ;)

One more vent, with this numbness I don't know I need to "go" until my bladder is in pain and it's time to go NOW. :Bang-Head:

Sounds like a UTI or yeast infection. Get tested!

I don't have pain when going, and the "pain" my bladder is gone as soon as I go, it's just the really full bladder "discomfort".
I'm also leaking some right after I'm done.
