i'm sorry to hear about your latest escapade koala,

try elevating your foot for a couple of days, and try icing it too every few hrs for maybe 10-15" to decrease the swelling.

i hope you get to feeling better.

Koala,

Talk about a roller coaster day! I'm glad to hear your good news at the neuro's but really bummed about your fall. I've had a broken toe or two in my time and I swear it's the worst pain. As someone else said, ice and elevation.

My last big toe injury I just bruised the bone and soft tissue and I was in incredible pain. The doc told me they don't usually do anything for broken toes unless it's a severe break in the big toe. You may want to get it checked out just in case.

Take care of yourself and try to rest that toe!

So sorry you hurt yourself after getting some decen news from the neuro...

I wonder if you should get that toe checked out anyway...aren't big toes treated differently than all of the other piggies?

Take care of yourself...and don't worry about the cryin'...you have every right to ball your eyes out!
