Hope you feel better soon!

Oh, the dreaded fatigue. I am so sorry for you. I'll bet you feel as though you have been drugged in someway, huh? At least that is how I feel.

Others have given you great advice. Try to rest and see how things go. Call the doctor back in a few days if you are not feeling better and sooner if your symptoms get worse or new symptoms.

Listening to our bodies is so hard sometimes. I went away this past weekend and did not rest properly - no naps just a 45 minute rest, stayed up late, got up early, etc. I am on day #2 of recuperating from that trip. I did not listen to my body and am paying for it with that dreaded fatigue. I am not sure how many times this "lesson" will be presented to me before I start really obeying. LOL.

Hang in there and let us know how you are doing.

Suzy,

:grouphug: Lots of good support here!!! Fatigue is just so frustrating. You just feel like collapsing while people are telling you how good you look! I just smile and say thank you... right before finding a place to collapse... :thud:

I'm experiencing some of what you are describing. I just got recovered from a relapse several weeks ago. Now I'm feeling so fatigued and started to get off balance and dizzy again. I'm so afraid it is another flair coming on. The last one lasted for months.

All of these very smart people say to take care of yourself. I believe them and will pray that you are able to do that. I'm working on it myself! Maybe we can do it together!!!

Bless you!

Suzy, hang in there... and rest, rest, rest.

sometimes I have to *trick* myself into resting...

like, if I lay down with a book, intending to nap... I'll just keep reading and reading.

but... try to make a shopping list, or write an essay, and, hey, whaddaya know?

out like a light!

:cool::):cool:

Susan,

I'm so glad you posted. I feel exactly like you. I know I'm in for a full exacerbation, if I don't get help. I called my ex last night and asked him to come down. I'm going to try to get to my Dr today. I guess I'll be there waiting all day. I wish you the best.

Listen to your body and your doc's nurse...rest. As frustrating as it is when our bodies don't let us live the way we want to, we need to listen to it, especially when we are ill.

The fatigue you're experiencing was described at another site as similar to walking around wearing that apron the dentist puts on you for xrays.
That's the way it feels to me...like I'm weighted down and just can't push myself through it.

Take care of yourself...hope the increase in meds helps you!
