hang in there, snood...
I can only comiserate with ya... root canal here, last spring, plus Trigeminal Neuralgia added to the fun 'n' games. the RC failed (they couldn't get the whole root) so, they extracted the tooth, then I got "dry socket" that whole month is a BLUR in my memory, but I sorta remember what HELPED knock down the pain, like... alternating HOT wet washcloths (that were heated in the microwave) with zip-lock baggies with two or three cubes of ICE. and one tablet of Fioricet (generic = Butalbital) every 4 to 6 hours also helped. our thoughts and prayers are with you, as you deal with this horrible thing. sometimes I think dental-area pain is the WORST, because it's so... invasive... so hard to block OUT. ![]() ![]() ![]()
