Are you sure that the Baclafen is still working for you? Sometimes we have to switch things up a bit to keep getting results. I changed to Zanaflex and it has worked well for me for about 3 years now.

Also, do you stretch your muscles regularly? That's a huge help for me.

Yeah, I'm edgy the pain does that to me, I guess.

I am taking about 80 mg a day and it isn't really working enough. My neuro didn't seem to want to talk about changing meds last time I brought it up. I wanted to at least add some Zanaflex at night.

I do stretch all the time. I should have really done PT last year when he ordered it, but it just wasn't possible then logistically speaking. I guess I have to revisit this with him again.

The chair is not really old enough to have become worn out. I think it is me that is worn out. I am not comfortable anywhere for more than a couple minutes.

have you tried the memory foam pillows holly?

they really help keep pressure off sensitive nerve endings.

my chair...lasted 3 years. (i'm not a heavy person..:o) guess i was kinda tough on the ole thing. working from home...i do get up and down all the time. *plop.

Good for you! I hope the new chair helps.

I hope you new chair works for you!

I just ordered a BackJoy Portable Supportive Back Orthotic off one of the TV shopping channels. Hasn't come yet, but if it's really great I'll let you know.
