one for inside that is just for inside with light color wheels. some of the black ones can make marks. using it just inside will insure that you don't get little rocks in the tires that can scratch floors. plus you won't track any dirt inside.

*this tip is from a friend who learned the hard way on her wood floors. :o

oh..if you have access to sams...they have them.

you can order online if they don't have one in stock.

We did the same thing. My mom actually has 3 rollators. One for upstairs, one for downstairs, and one for outside/going to the store.

She hardly ever uses the downstairs rollator. The one she uses the most is the upstairs one.

We learned the hard way to get more than 1 rollator to save the floors. When we bought the house (brand new) the carpets were white. My mom didnt start using a rollator until we'd been here a few years. She started using it indoors and outside, and we started to notice little tire marks on the carpet.

Luckily, we had my dog TinyMonsters (100+ pounds of black fur and oily dog skin) He did a great job of covering up the tire tracks and making them blend in with his dog fur.

When we had our carpets cleaned the first time, the guy cleaning it showed me the dirty water and schmutz that came up out of the carpet. Exact color of my dog. 2yrs after losing my dog, it's still coming up that color...and the dog only lived in the house for 5yrs.

I cant wait to get new carpet that wont show the tire tracks as much, and hopefully get something that's a bit more rollator friendly for my mother.
