Default LIMBO CHECK-IN Wed 4-2-08

Happy daze guys and gals ~!

Not sure where Brain/Cathy is but will start this to welcome any of you today. The coffee, juice is up and calorie free goodies are yours to the taking.

I am now realizing the benefits of having more AIR when I sleep with my CPAP. I was about to chuck it till I adjusted the straps and it didnt hiss or leak air.
I have a nose pillow instead of a mask. So far so good.

Up against my EMG in a few weeks. But otherwise life is quiet and good.

Let us know how you all are doing ok?

Hugs, Jan

Hi girlfried! we musta been posting just about the same time, lol. It's really something for me to get a crack at the pc in the am - dh is on 2nd and he gets first dibs on the thing.

I'm sure that air thingy is a challenge - I give you credit for hanging with it. A lot of people DO chuck it. So it's nice to hear it is doing something for you.

I know too some EMGs are not too pleasant. Mine was not bad at all. Here's hoping yours goes like mine. A little tingly. The worst of it was getting the Sharpie off my arm, really.

Hi all, well I'm in an awful mood. I go from being in limbo to being DX and thinking most of my SX are from it to having the DX taking away and proved to me it was wrong in 2 weeks time.
I keep telling my husband that I glad my back it ok but I'm upset at the same time, you all know what it means just to have a DX and to know your not just making up all the SX.

Hi all,
My DH and I both attempted to increase the size of the type, but we weren't able to do it...is there a magic word I have to say in order to make the size larger?
We got back from Hawaii this morning...those overnight flights are rough...guess it's payment for the great time we had. It was really relaxing. I only had 2 problems with my health while there. Both times I had balance problems; once after we'd hiked to a water fall, and once after a rigorous workout. I got overheated both times, and then suddenly I felt as if iwere going to fall over if I took a step. My DH had to grab me and hold me while I walked it off.
So in the pile of mailwaiting for us was a rejection notice for long term health coverage. This comes after I was told by the neuro's nurse practitioner that I didn't have MS. But they reject people for having fibro, too, so that could be the reason. They'd probably reject a person for once having a sliver in a finger.
So, I hope everyone is well and if you have any suggestions as to how to increase the text size, please share!
Take care!

Debbie so sorry you got rejected with no MS diagnosis. What do they think you have?

Here I was cheering that you got to go to Hawaii...so sorry for the bomshell awaiting you.

Now... when you get his response grid, look up whee it shows the B I U icons, see them? Well move over just over an inch and above you'll see a number with an arrow. Click ON that arrow and it will show numbers. I always pick number 4...then just start typing.

OR..you can highlight what you typed and then choose the number but its hard to read that little font. I always choose it first.

Does that help??

It's not working, Jan. At the top of the box, there's a fonts area and then a sizes area. When I click on the size 4, it doesn't change a darn thing!! So sorry.
The nurse practitioner said that I was getting sxs as a result of anxiety and depression.
I have been stressing out lately, but not for 3 whole years!! I don't really worry about getting a dx anymore...just going to treat the sxs and hope for the best.
I'm just taking a deep calming breath whenever I feel myself getting stressed now, and it's helping.

Sorry McGimp...i will try to turn your sxs back down a notch..hugssss

hey all, well still contemplating a job change...I could be THE BOSS at the Walmart McDonalds instead of second in charge at my store now...

being the boss could be more work, but at same time the store is so quiet, dealing without a drive thru kindof tempts me....gotta finish thinking..maybe I had too much time to think thru this..cause I keep going back and forth...ahhhhhhhhh

Feeling ok, same as usual, if I dont overheat I am pretty ok....just cant control the humidity..when humid I suffer thru sxs...but hey with work and five kids who has time to focus on numb/tingling pain, cogfog and all..hahahahaha

hugss all...sorry seven I SO KNOW HOW YOU FEEL and many here do ...hugsss

hugss to all, sarah
