Default Hey limbo people

I won't be here tomorrow for the check in. I have a doc appt in the am and babysitting the rest of the day. But the rest of you party on, okay?

I have the DGD because her mom lost the baby - I posted in social chat about it. She'll be with us the rest of the week, maybe longer, while her mom recovers.

Hey guys hello ~!! I couldnt post this AM and when I came on now, 8:44pm no one new has posted since Brain and Tante this AM.

Nothing new, I get my CPAP tommorow AM the tech is coming to set it up. I am a little nervous knowing I am going to have the EMG test but hey, maybe it will rule something in or out. Never know.

I take Lyrica PRN but not too often but I do take Baclofen nearly daily and it helps the pain and tightness in my legs and back. I sleep 6 hours when I take it. BUT if I dont I am UP UP UP..hmmm

Hope you all are improving. Know that I care!!

Jan

Jan, I was told Lyrica required build up and regular use. Are you getting the best benefit out of it using it off and on?

Good luck with the EMG.

I had a brain and a lumbar MRI today w and w/o contrast, and oh were there changes on the brain this time around!!!

Not sure what they all mean, but I have always had the cleanest, healthiest brain images....this time there are definitely differences compared to the last ones, at and around the corpus collasum, in the temporal lobe and one other I don't know the name of, and I need to check on the optic nerve area---definitely different but not sure on those shots whether hyper or hypo would be the indicator and these are so hyperintense.

It was interesting comparing to the old films...what little comparing I could do . Still might be nothing, but it is, did I say it yet? Definitely different!!!!

Popping in quick...

Appt went well. don't have to go back for 6 months unless I need something.

Robaxim and patch are working really well for me. I played my guitar chased the baby around and everything!

That's the best muscle relaxer I ever used. Not sleepy at all. It's big and hard to swallow, but aside from that I love it.

Jan, let us know how the Cpap thing and EMG goes, okay? And glad the baclofen is helping!

Tante - hmmmm, interesting. Waiting for an update on your brain.

Something very odd is happening to me. When I saw my PCP the other day, I reiterated that I'm sick of the narcotics but I NEED to sleep. I asked for some sleeping pills. Well.....Not only have I slept the past two nights, I'm awaking with less pain than usual. I don't know what to think of it. Still have terrible spasms during the day, still can't lift, still have pain....but its down.

I am calling to make an appointment with my new Spine Doctor today and will see what he makes of it.

Very odd....but welcome!

To the rest of you....good luck on your week of things to do!!

HEY HEY HEY Brain.. guess what???!!!

I googled "Rx Robaxim" to find out about it as I dont want the drowzies on a muscle relaxant. AND it came back with only ONE response YOURS for neurotalk !!!

ANd I remember I was given that methocarbam years ago and yes its NOT drowsy. SO.. think I'll ask for that instead of Baclofen. If I take Baclofen more than once a day i am in a FOG and cannot move, stay up or think very well.

Thanks
