In today's Sydney Daily Telegraph newspaper, (Sydney, Australia.)
"MS patients get $37,000 medicine relief" "Multiple sclerosis and renal disease patients will soon receive a subsidy for medicines costing up to $37,000 a year. Prime Minister Kevin Rudd's office said subsidies cutting the costs of the medicines to $31.30 for general patients and $5 for pensioners would apply from July 1, News Limited reports on Wednesday. The subsidies for Tysabri to treat multiple sclerosis and Sensipar to treat renal disease will cost taxpayers $535 million. Tysabri currently costs patients $37,000 a year." Edit: PSB is a typo, sorry. The heading should have read PBS....
