Default LIMBO CHECK-IN Wed 04/30/08

GOOD MORNING GALS AND GUYS~!!!

Oh happy daze to you all !!! mmm..coffee's hot, choice of juices,,...home-made buns LOL

Brain/Cathy~ we took a vote so tell your hubby that YOU need to get online on Wednesdays, so that you can start OUR check-in, ok??????

Let us know how you all are doing.

NEWBIES come on in and sit down. Let us rub your feet, shoulders and take some burdens away...even if for a day. Tell us how you're doing, know that you'll always have support in this forum!!

For me, I am ok. Up early, dont know why. Some of the tension of the last 2weeks at work is subsiding. Turned in my rebuttal to a very punitive plan my supervisors want me to do, in 90 days, so that they can set me up to be fired, along with 2 others.

I am fighting for my integrity, my abilities and position. I haven't heard yet but HR and the CEO were informed by me. I may still be at risk, but I have applied at yet another hospital and have an interview in 2 weeks. They are UP to something...

Trying to stay away from docs for now. I just dont care, then I do, then I dont LOL

My symptoms are bearable. Maybe NOT have a diagnosis will prove beneficial at my age for future jobs and insurance.

SENDING HEALING LOVE TO ALL ~!!!

Morning all!
I guess I'm out of limbo (again, LOL). Everything that's going on with me makes since that's it's just the fibro or MCS. I've gotten rid of all regular house cleaners, laundry soaps & bath items and am using earth friendly fragrance free items. My headaches are almost gone, I'm not tried like I use to be, I'm not hurting all over like I did before. Those 24/7 headaches were awful, Midrid & Imitrax didn't even help.

Wow! I hope that does it - or at least helps. It can take a while to see a diff, but the good news is there are suddenly all these *green* products on the market for you to try out. If nothing else, vinegar and water will clean about anything. good luck!

Jan -Ugh, weird tension on the dh front. I don't even know why he's giving me the cold shoulder. What did I do? I was all happy cuz I am getting a stoe=ry published, finished a screenplay for a contest (that's all the contest is, you write it, you *win*, no real prize, lol).

I threw a nice party for the granddaughter, and my bro had a party when my other bro came up. Now he's all PMS-y. I dunno...

I think he just hates it when I'm happy or something.

Oh well.

Still keeping my fingers crossed on your job, that this blows over.

Colaterbug - nice to meet ya! 14 hrs? Wow, good for you, making it through a day like that! I'm not surprised that brought on some sx. I hope you can take it easy today.

Brain, my ex did the same thing! Whenever I was happy, he would be ******. I don't know why. It was the strangest thing.

Congrats to you though!!!!

BRAIN maybe it IS INSECURITY !!!/????

BUt still, you would hope that you can SHARE the happiness...

Know that WE are proud of you, oh talented one!! ANd I thought you'd be writing music/songs as well !!!

I know its not the same to have your loved one notice and care enough to put their "stuff" aside and SHOW how proud they are !!

My dad did that to my mom their whole married life, yet he would secretly talk about how proud he was but NEVER EVER tell her !! How christian is that??
It took her death to bring him to his senses.

What is your screenplay about? Is this just raw talent or did you study writing??

Momx7..YESSS chemicals can create all kinds of neuro problems that lead to chronic problems.

I am just grateful for Wed and being here!!

Luv Jan

Greetings Earthlings.

I had my 4th set of MRIs in two years this past Friday. I haven't gotten the report yet, but just from looking at it, I'd say it is normal. Which leaves me still in Limboland.

I'm requesting an referral from my PCP to a regular neurologist, as I feel I've gone as far as I can with my MS Specialist (and I have issues with her nurse practitioner.) Maybe a fresh set of eyes looking at everything will find something the others haven't. (I think sometimes we focus so much on "it's got to be MS because it looks like MS" that we might miss something else.)

In the meantime, it's a beautiful spring day, and I'm going to enjoy it to the fullest. And after Friday, I'm off for three weeks, so I'm just hanging on until then!

Big hugs to all,

Lisa

Hi all!!!

It's a cool, sunny spring day...having the sun out makes such a difference!

Brain, sorry your DH is being withdrawn. Sounds like me. Hope you can wrap your arms around him and get him to warm up and let you know what's going on...you don't need the stress.

Jan, I sure hope you can get through this successfully. Try to keep your insides calm...

Had a lot of balance problems at my "special populations" balance and core class today. Who knows why...maybe it's that darn depression and anxiety that the nurse practitioner insists is causing all my sxs...
My instructor was concerned, though, and wonders what the heck is going on in that brain of mine.

Still haven't gotten around to getting a new neuropsych exam scheduled. I keep asking my DH to call the ins. co to recommend someone in network, and he keeps forgetting. Who's got the cognitive difficulties??

Hope everyone has a great week...try to enjoy the spring...before long, we'll all be complaining about the summer heat!
