Default Emg

Blaaaaaaaaa.....

I'm getting my EMG in a few hours....I'm sure its nothing to worry about, but it sounds like its not REAL fun after reading about it. Plus, I have to see my 'old spine' doctor, and he knows I got a second opinion now He's going to really LOVE me

Oh the webs we weave.....

That dusting of snow today? Well, it's a blizzard out Enough! I wanna go to GA and sit in the sun and sell Kelly's goods

I don't envy you that. I had one about a year ago, after about 15 years. It isn't as bad as and LP and the pain doesn't stay long.

But I hope yours goes quickly and with little drama. Sending

you will do fine. They are not all that bad. And they can be a really
helpful tool in diagnosis. Good luck.

Why do we worry when we need a second opinion, why should a doc even care? He's a silly man if it bothers him or if it affects how he treats you.

But, that aside, I don't know what to hope for on your EMG, other than no pain, and by now it's too late to wish you that, sorry.

Oh, and hey, when you're tired of seling Kelly's (?) stuff in GA, I'm here also, it is 78 out and the pool just hit 68 degrees, not warm for us southerners, but compared to the snow? Come take a dunk.

Well it was my Spine Doc himself that did the EMG It was like the early days with him, when he cared and wanted to help me. Go figure!! We had a good time and laughed and stuff! So after it was over, I said so....normal I bet. He said yep. LOL. I said now what? He started talking about getting hooked up at a club and getting a trainer. Get my general physical health back. Then I told him years ago I'd been on Vioxx and it was like my little miracle pill...did they have something like that? He got a big smile and gave me Celebrex. I'm excited to see if it works! Then I reiterated that it's the one spot that is making me miserable and so he gav me a lidocaine patch to try. So I got that now too.

I try to be a good patient, so I'm going to do everything he says....and just his attitude made ALL the difference. He wanted to help and was open to my ideas. So, I'll let ya all know how this works out in the next week. Should work quick if it will work at all. I'm going to drop the other meds and give the new stuff a chance to work.

Oh and Frank The snow keep falling.... The roads are a real mess and lots of ditch divers....

UPDATE ON WORK: Passed the background check, filled out the paperwork today and punch the clock at 7AM tomorrow....so take care all and see you around!!

~~~~~~~WAVES~~~~~~~
Waving back GJ.
I'm glad the test went well, and the doctor was pleasant to you. Good luck with the patch and the Celebrex.
Let us know how you get on.
Jeannie,
Hope your first day of work went well...and hope that Celebrex helps. Wasn't Vioxx the most wonderful drug on the face of this planet?! I think it was a conspiracy when the company withdrew it from the market...they didn't want us regular people to feel good.
Take care of yourself...I hope you enjoy being out in the working world again. I miss it...
OK tell me again why you were having an EMG?
If it were normal, then it ruled OUT other problems.
I am about to have an EMG. HE thinks it may be carpel tunnel that is causing my numbness in my hands and sometimes from my elbow on down when I wake up.
Hmmm...
Warmly, Jan
