Connie,
You are SO new to diagnosis - I just realized it wasn't until 2 weeks ago that I stopped shaking my head thinking "this isn't really happening." For over two months after diagnosis - I just kept waiting to wake up from this nightmare that is now my life. I realized that I just passed the 3 month mark - and while I don't think I'm necessarily in denial - sometimes I try to just forget. It's hard to do, though, especially as I'm still very symptomatic. As people have told me - in this situation - there's nothing wrong with being in denial! Keep it as long as you can. ~Keri |
