It would be nice if I could take a vacation from my brain...temporary, I mean.

 Ack, can I claim ignorance still?? I forgot heat can exacerbate. Yikes, I LOVE my hot baths, but always have to sit after I got out of them. I figured it was just TOO hot (I like them VERY HOT). I did notice, before knowing it was MS and that heat was bad, that with my last flare up, heat made it worse. I forgot I mentioned it to my doc until I read her notes. Otherwise, when I am not "active" it does not bother me.

Ok, strike that, take a tepid bath :p

Just wondering: where exactly were you experiencing that "warm feeling"?

I guess my eyes must move faster than my brain can think: I thought FinLady was sending you cyberBugs!!!:rolleyes: Eeeeek!!!

Okay then, forget the hot bath and take a cold shower. Brrrrrrr! :rocket:

It's okay, Connie, you meant well! :) My arthritis loves a hot shower, my MS doesn't. I try to find a balance. Oh wait. I don't have any balance.

I feel a little better today. Once in a while, everything seems to rear its ugly rear at once, and it just overwhelms me. Today I've got it just a wee bit more pulled together (she likes to think).

I've got to get my Mickey Rivers thing going. Back in the day, I saw an interview with "Mick the Quick", and the interviewer asked him how he could be so laid back about everything.

I can't quote it precisely, but essentially he said: "Well, I don't worry about the things I can't do anything about, because I can't do anything about them anyway. And I don't worry about the things I CAN do something about, because I can DO something about them so I don't need to worry about them either. So why worry?"

UH OH!!! :D

Someone has a siggy line that reminds me of this, "Don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining." ;)

Hmm, shouldn't be joking when you've been feeling lousy....
Not making light of it at all, promise!!

When my PCP made me cry about my DX (like it's HARD to make me cry) and I apoligized to her for crying she said "you have a right to cry". I do, sometimes, not all the time though. Some days are like that.
