Dang it Sappy and Jappy! You were supposed to be all better by now.

Drink fluids, get plenty of rest and report in when you can.

Hope Jim feels better soon too, Sandy.

Geeez Louise!!!! You stay away from here for a few days and everyone gets sick. :( Hope you're feeling better Sally. Maybe another round of Amox' or a different antibiotic??? Cheryl, I pray you're not having an exacerbation but whatever it is, it's not fun. Keep us posted. And Joyce too? What's going on??? And DH? Come on folks, it's finally spring! Seriously, I do hope you all are feeling better and will be 100 per cent real soon!

Hugs from a distance........

UTIs and fevers can really play havoc!

SallyC 04-25-2008 10:13 AM

Hi folks...I'm 75% better. I'm going to give it another week and tke lots of Cranberry to see if that clears the UTI....If not, then back to the Doc's.

Thanks for being here..:grouphug:

:Wave-Hello: Hi Ya, Judy..

tovaxin_lab_rat 04-25-2008 10:22 AM

Glad you are better Sal!

Ask your doc about a product called AZO Standard. It's an over the counter product for UTIs. Check out their website. My ob/gyn recommended it for me. Also AZO yeast which I take daily since I am (was) so proned to yeast infections b/c of so much IVSM. Haven't had one since I started this stuff.

DM 04-25-2008 10:51 AM

I've got a 75% over here... Do I hear 100%??? Anyone??

Sold to the cute lil pie making Grandma from OH for 90%. Sal, I want you better than 75%. Next wk, we're aiming higher.:D

Feel better everyone and Judy~ good to see you posting.

Good deal! You can get it at Target or Wal-Mart or most drug stores. But ordering it on line (cuz I know you hate to shop) is a good deal!

Good luck! I have been using the AZO yeast for about 2 years now and have not had ONE yeast infection. ;)

I don't have a problem with yeast infections. I only had one, in my life and it was caused by an AntiBiotic and it was in my mouth..

Good evening all.....entering room with a mask, gloves, HVAC suit, etc. It's good to hear a few are feeling somewhat better. That's the trouble with we MSers, when we get sick, it lasts forever. Of course the exacerbations.......well that's a whole different can of worms. Did I tell you guys at my last neuro appointment, he gave me an open prescription for the dexamethasone pills for whenever I may need them? They're in place of solumedrol. Guess he figures after all these years, I know my body well enough to know when it needs a boost. Anyway, who wants to take steroids when you don't have to???? Yuck!!!

Well, yes, for those who asked, I am feeling unusually good. Except for the leg spasms and the usual fibro/ms pain, it hasn't been too bad. The weather has been that nice clear, not too hot, no humidity kind that happens about one week out of the year, so that makes a big difference!!

Also.......I have a new member of my household!!! Yeah, I know I said no more dogs, but the depression and loneliness have been horriblle. Can't believe that this Tuesday was six months since I lost Susan. I had put out the word that I was looking for an adult dog, no puppies, to groomers, vet's office, a couple Rescues, etc. The last groomer I used, Zoomin Groomin that comes to the house, heard of a family looking for a good home for their two year old Bichon Frise. They had a new baby and there were some "jealousy" issues. She told them she had just heard of someone that might be a perfect match and three days later.......here she is.....Tasha!!! She was just two in Feb. so she does have quite a bit of puppy left, Bichons don't mature as quickly as some other breeds, so had to move all the "chewables" to higher ground. She's had her shots, is spayed and just about housebroken. She goes when I take her out, but forgets sometimes in the house. I have those "piddle pads", but so far all she does is grab them, run away and rip them to shreds!!!!!

It's been kind of hectic, but a good kind of hectic. She's little, about 9 pounds of white fluffy energy! But so much company. She's small enough to ride around on my lap in the powerchair. Wish I could send pics with this old web tv. That's why I haven't been around much.

Hope all you "sickies" are at least 90 per cent better now -- See ya later....taking off paraphenalia. Where's the disinfectant???

AfterMyNap 04-26-2008 09:05 AM

You got a new doggie! Good for you Judy!

*tipping surgical mask to reveal smile*

I agree, the weather sure can influence the mood, can't it? We're in a cold snap today and it has already made me kind of cranky. It has been super nice for a solid week and I'm spoiled. Now it's 42°, overcast and windy. Blech.

Well, it's nice to see you around here again, don't be such a stranger!

Sickies?

How we doing today?

Dagnabbit Sal~ That's not what I wanted to hear. Let's hope you wake up tomorrow and feel better. I'm ok, just feeling the allergy/sinus stuff and hoping it's not another cold.

I'm about ready to put us all in a plastic bubble.

A new baby Judy??? I'm so excited for you. My 10 yo Doxie still acts like a pup and I love it. So glad you've got a lil buddy. Tasha sounds sweet and fun. :D
