I am, however, fascinated about the spinal lesion detection, or lack thereof. My last spinal MRI (two years ago) showed no lesions, but I've had horrible problems with spasticity in my legs for what seems like forever. Perhaps there are some of those little troublesome spinal lesions hiding somewhere.

You've awakened a sleeping curiosity in me, and I'll be looking more closely at this particular aspect of our malady.

Thanks for the info!

Kathy, you might not get a response from Dshesq. Last time that person visited the forum was in 2010.

There are medications for spasticity, has your doctor prescribed anything for that? You dont need to be diagnosed with MS to get treatment for your symptoms. One of the better things I've noticed for spasticity is actually exercise, if you're capable of doing it. Try doing small amounts of stretching every day. You dont need a prescription for exercise. Just do it slow, try not to over do it, and build up the exercises every few days or every week till you get comfortable doing them.

Hopefully when you see your neuro, he'll try to answer your questions better than we are here, since he's the one who went to school to learn all about the brain.
