Our Little Yeahbut is in the ER receiving IV Fluids. She's got a headache and they are telling her that there is no one there to do the blood patch today. I told her BS on that. The anesthesiologist on call is the one to do it...she's telling them that!

She is going to keep me posted.

YB - I hope you're doing OK. That's just WRONG that they cannot get anyone to do your bloodpatch. I'm sure if it was one of them or their family they'd get the on call person in there.

Maybe they admitted her, maybe they confiscated her phone? She might be in a no-phone-zone too.

There HAS to be an anethetist available! It's an ER for goodness sake! Don't there ever get people attending who need emergency surgery? :confused:

I forget we have different words or phrases sometimes when we speak the same language.....albeit you guys have accents. :D

We don't have anesthesiologists here, we have anaethetists but I assume they're the same as what you mentioned.

Char is back home! Full of fluids and if she doesn't feel better by tomorrow...she will go back for the blood patch.
