Like many of you I wouldn't touch an energy drink with a ten foot pole until....

I needed to stay awake once. A friend picked up Rockstar pomegranate. I only drank 1/3 of it because I was leary.

It worked. So if I have an important occasion when I have to be awake I will try it again.

If drinking an energy drink is in regards to the fatigue you feel (obviously) I am on a new medicine that is wonderful! Amantadine. I take 2 a day and I feel an amazing difference. Does anyone else take this?

For a good jolt I drink Emergen-C. I helps me out a lot when I know that I need to do something that I need extra energy for.

I also take it when I feel I am coming down with something or if one of my DDs is sick. It works great for that.

Good luck and have fun at the park. Sounds like a great trip.

I took Amantadine for awhile. It made me feel like I had lock jaw. I literally had a hard time opening my mouth wide enough to take a good bite. I also felt a lot of my other muscles were very tense.

Wiz is right, lots of caffeine and sugar. A Dove bar will probably do just as much for you and tastes much better.

I take Amantadine, 100 mg two a day, and it does work wonders for me.

I've been drinking them lately but nothing BIG happens...maybe a small burst of energy, stop the yawns...but it's over pretty quick IMO. Very sweet (Red Bull) like a sweet tart
