I make it a point not to park in the van accessible handicap parking and I have a handicap sticker!!

Once when DH was going to park in one I told him to park in the other handicap place b/c someone might need that one and I just needed to be close enough to walk to the building.

It is starting to not amaze me how unthoughtful people are. What a sad state.

I would have said something to him if I was sure he was the perp. You don't have to get loud or obnoxious (I'm sure you wouldn't!), but I would ask him to please move the car for people who need that curb cut, including ME (you did need it!)

Then I'd thank him after did it. :). You get the photos and the police involved for a fine if he refuses to do it!!

another idea for places that don't have enough HA slots.

stores and businesses could make a pick up & drop off spot right in front of their building.
- those with a partner/driver could be dropped off right near the main door, then the driver could find a parking place & meet up inside do shopping and then go retrieve the car and load everything back at the pick up/drop off area.

Some of the stores here have a safely lane in front of the store - so that would work as long as you can load up quickly.

The Target store that's a few blocks from my house has a great drive up/pick up for people who dont want to carry their stuff outside.

If you've got a lot of stuff, you can ask for the drive up. You get a card from the cashier, they put another card with a number that corresponds to the card the cashier gives you. You go out to your car, drive up to the front of the store, and someone brings out your stuff to you and loads it in the car.

I'm going to be having my dad use that more often, since he just hurt his back a few weeks ago, and keeps re-injuring it by picking up heavy stuff. (we have neighbors that will help carry heavy stuff once we get home)

BRAVO!

I can understand the punch. After struggling to get in and to get out...:(

It had just built up inside you...

And in a flash, you reacted...:D

I have to give you Mucifer's number if it ever happens again.
(That's the not-so-polite alter ego of mine. Straining on the leash for some time now.):o

He would not deny you the punch, but he would make sure the skinny little jackass remembered why the angry 6'4'', 350lb., unhinged gorrilla with a cane got in his face and made him move his car.

Thanks for the offer, but I'm more of a Mouse than a Moose! I'm more into being pitiful and making them feel ashamed of themselves.

Oh, I get it (finally) Mucifer - Moose/Lucifer. At first I thought it was something about Mucinex...bleaaahhh! Duh!

Do you think he was ashamed of himself?
