Default Well just got back from the neuro!!

Well I was told I was staying the night. This was the first time ive been there since the diognosis with symptems present. After a whole bunch of his little test and such, I was takin down to optomitry with posible ON. Well after tons of test and such they determined it was a bad contact. Then a neuro-optomitrist came in. She told me I do have bi-lateral ino "duh", dubble vision when the eyes go to the sides. One eye moves faster than the other, then over shoot the target and has to come back " causing the double vision. other than the vertigo, gaint and learning alot of doctors cant spell " I know my spelling is bad also" I was told Im staying in the hospital. So I soent the night in locly down town St. Louis, watched my beloved cardinals loose big time. Well wake up today for my mri, go down there lay in the machine and you all know the rest "remembered ear plugs this time." Go back my Specilist comes in tells me I can go home, with no treatment "dont react good to steroids" Then proceds to tell me the mri has revealed a new leasion. 17 total lesions now. Im wonder how I can walk or anything. Luckly things are getting better on there own now slowly. At my job I have 4 weeks of full pay, and 6 weeks of half per year. So he told me stay home take your shots and lets see where you are in a week.

The end
lol

P.S. hospital food blows, luckly my brother lives in St. Louis he brought me Mcdonalds.

Sorry about your lesions, Brandon. Stay home and take your meds, like the doc said.

Thank goodness for brothers and McDonalds!

Keep us posted, K?

hey, hope you feel better Brandon. McDonalds in the hospital is the way to go. My first time in the hospital with the diagnosis my husband brought me lunch and dinner -- my favorite Thai food, pizza, matzo ball soup... It made it more bearable, ya know?!

Hi BW...glad you are home and taking your meds like a good trooper..lol.

Don't worry about the new lesion....lesions come and lesions go, but it really depends on where they are, for it to make any difference in your mobility.

You can have a few lesions and a bunch of mobility problems or many lesions and just a little trouble.

Feel better soon, please..

Don't let the number of lesions scare you - Sally's right...it's the location of them that matter.

My Neuro said I have so many he stopped counting them!!

Sorry to hear about the new leisons and the hospital trip.

But I am glad you had someone sneak you in some McD's while you were in the hospital. I agree with you. I hate hospital food.

Like the others said, leison affect is dependant on the old real estate rule. It's all about "location, location, location." I only have 12 total, but they are in some interesting spots that make sure every day is fun.

Hope you feel better soon.

Brandon, glad to hear your home. Whenever Jim is in the hospital he has a standing order for outside food. lol

What did they say about the numbness and facial hair?

I didnt get to ask him about it, way to much was going on. The new lesion does correspond with the new eye symptoms though. Maybe i can throw my razor away soon.
