He has Co-sponsored one of the bills we are asking for support, but you might want to watch for his name on the Caucus.

Great information Av8rgirl. I had heard that Senator Obama's father-in-law may have had MS and the You Tube clip on the url you cited confirms it.

None of the current contenders for the presidential race are on the committees. I am sure they are on other committees.

Thank you for making us aware of how to participate as advocates for MS.

My Senator (one of the 18) and Congressman have signed on. However, I see no mention ref MS on anyany of their sites. Looks like I'll have to send a few mails. Note the number of views to the site - only 22,000.

I am glad they have signed on Sheena!! That's a huge step considering there are only 88 Congressman and 18 Senators who have signed on! We have a LONG way to go!

Since we made our visit to Capitol hill, we've gone from 76 Congressman and 10 Senators to 88/18. We're adding!!!

Today was Idaho's Primary. Congressman Bill Sali is up for re-election. One of his campaign issues is health care. I wanted to through something at the TV tonight when he was being interviewed. He still hasn't signed on to the MS Caucus! I think his office and his Aide Marcus will get another letter from me tomorrow. Mr. Sali has two sister's with MS....I am not sure he has his priorities in the right order.

I just checked the list... I didn't see either of my senators, or my representative on the list. Perhaps I missed them.

I have emailed all of them in the past.

Politics is a sport in my state. It always has been.

I'm in New York.

My senators are:

Chuck Schumer
Hillary Clinton

representative:

John Hall

Busy state. Busy politics.

I'm glad to know that Obama has taken an interest in MS. And not because of politics.
