Prednisone
 

My doc just put me on the following (started Yesterday)

day 1 600mg Prednosine (200mg TID) - same for day2 and day3

Then taper from 70-10mg for 7 days. Neuropathic pain bad, MS for 16 years, no disability just pain and eye problems, hope it does not go beyond this.

first night, horrendous, panic syndrome and excessive sweating, this did not happen to me with IV Solumedrol and Pred taper (15 years ago)

This is an old thread, so I just wanted to tell you that you may not get too many respones here. Come on in and start an intro thread of your own.

I don't do Prednezone anymore because, after the first successful time, it has never worked again, except to make me a nervous wreak..:eek:

Ask your Doc for some Valium to go along with it. My Doc always did and it helped with the jitters.
