I was in a phase I trial years ago for Fampridine. Although I didn't end up being one that got the med, I still felt it was a good thing being a part of a clinical trial. I'm glad to hear things are going well with the med. And it's not an injection! Yay!

BTW, we saw previews of the movie "Australia" that will be coming out in the Fall. Looks like it might be pretty good. Nicole Kidman will be in it and I forget who else....I wasn't paying that much attention until I saw the title.

I think it'll be an excellent movie, from the shorts I saw on Australian TV.

A bit is even filmed in the tiny town of Bowen in Queensland's mid northcoast, and my sister lives there. They had most of the locals as extras in that part of the film.

It's where they drive the beasts through the town to the sale yards for the auction. Nicole was there for that part.

I've used this med off & on for the last 7 years when I needed extra leg power. I have a GP who Rx'ed it and found a compounding pharmacy who knew how to make it.

I don't use it now that I'm on Tysabri but it really does help with nerve transmission.

For those of you that want to try it, you don't have to wait if you have a Doc that will work with you on this. I printed the info off the Accorda website and gave him the name and number of the pharmacy I wanted to use and in a couple of weeks I had my med.
