Does anyone in here have real bad eye pain? My eyes are in oure pain right now, and have been for a few weeks.
If so is there anything I can take to help the pain? |

brandon,
don't fool around with your eyes. i would call your neuro monday (or sooner if you have to). also call your opthamologist and see (sorry, no pun intended) if you can get an appt to check your eyes out. you want to make sure you don't have a bout of ON. how is your vision? please keep us posted on this.

This is advice I was given by two neuros and my opthalmologist. My optho told me if I ever think there's something wacky going on with my eyes, to just call him and he'll make room for me to get checked the same day if he can. Call your opthalmologist on monday. Tell them you have eye pain and you want to get it checked out to make sure you dont have optic neuritis. If you notice your color vision is weird (reds will look desaturated, greens and blues will be difficult to distinguish from each other) or if you notice blind spots in your central vision, you should get to the optho as soon as you can. If they think you need to, they'll get you hooked up to some IV solumedrol (dont take oral prednisone when you have ON, it can cause repeated future episodes of ON)

I agree with the advice given. You should at least call your neuro to let them know your in pain. Jim eyes hurt too but mainly when he is watching the tv or computer too long. Other times it's an ms thing. He does have ON as well. He said that wearing sunglasses when they hurt helps to lesson the pain.
