Default **** tingling tongue!

make it stop!!! the tip of my tongue has been tingling on/off for several weeks and now it's like 24/7 and driving me crazy!!

is there anything i can put on it to make it STOP? talk about irritating.

i am going for a pelvic/abdominal ct scan after a thoracic mri showed a dark spot (? phone call from doctor -forget what he called it) inside my bone at t10. said it could be infection, old injury, or cancer. hoping not the latter!

also getting a brain mri done next week.

never mentioned the tongue to the doctor b/c i don't think it bothered me until recently. sucky memory is a real problem trying to not only remember symptoms, but when the heck they started. i'd say the past month?

anyway, is there anything i can do to get it to STOP? i also have a severe tickle in my throat ongoing for almost 2 yrs that causes me to choke, gag, cough so bad i pull a muscle in my upper back.

could that be something progressing into my tongue? i recently had an upper gi where they looked at my throat and stomach and all appeared fine, so i'm not suspecting throat cancer or anything lol. i also have an appt with a throat specialist in a few weeks.

what i need now is an immediate homebrew fix for this damn tongue tingling!

help someone please!!

I'm sorry I can't help with the tongue tinglies, I'll send you some healing hugs, for now.

I'm eager to hear if there is something out there though. The roof of my mouth is so hypersensitive, there are some foods I can no longer eat, like waffles.

I'm sorry you are going through such a tough time. I'm praying your spine spot is nothing too serious. Please keep us posted and let us know a bit more about you too.

Default ucky tingly tongues

Well, I wish I had advice - but the right side of my face going numb over Xmas was my first ever MS sign - and it included HALF of my tongue (right) being numb and tingly. 5 months later, it is still numb and tingly. However, the fun hasn't stopped - in my current exacerbation, the left side of my face and tongue has joined in on the party!

I must say, though, feeling that half of my tongue has been numb and tingly - is SO bizarre to think....that HALF of it could be one way and the other half another way. Trips me out!
