Our friends (joy and Rick) had never experienced such a time and was good for Rick since he is 2 years post diagnosis. Look forward to them joining the boards soon.

Me too. Very nice people.

Geez, Earl. And to think: I pale in comparison to your description of AMN! I love that she had you speaking to complete strangers: she would grab anyone who looked interesting (i.e.: sporting tattoes, piercings, etc.) and drag them over to Earl for introductions. :D

You're right, mom23angels: there definitely should be a GA GTG. There are quite a few folks in that area, so you should at least be able to get half a dozen. The Bird, Momma's Kids, ummmmm, going from memory here *blank*

Well, I'm just so hurt that you didn't remember where I am from......http://i283.photobucket.com/albums/k...ty1960/sad.gif

hmmm...things I learned about the people at the luncheon.

A lot has already been covered but I will try.

Joy is pregnant, baby is due in November. She had a broken finger. Added a new meaning to the toilet humor joke "Pull my finger.";)

No one from the NRA approached our table and shot Dave (Earl). I guess being a pastor has its perks.:D

Twink got BBQ sauce on her sleeve. I immediately thought of the Tide commercial and wished I had come prepared with that little laundry stick, sir yes sir.

The best part of my meal was dessert, the strawberry shortcake. Rochelle's DGS was VERY cute. I asked him to come over to my side to select what he wanted from the dessert. ZOOM!! He was right there. So sweet and so well behaved. Remembered to say thank you right away. He won my heart.

Hey Twink, I was there. Can't you see me?

I'm amazed.. Your daughter looked great for having a C-section so recently! I wasn't walking completely upright for at least 3 weeks after my son was born (I still threaten to show him the scar when he gives me a hard time..He's 17 now, and straightens up right away then :D)..I'm looking forward to the baby pix!
