Frown Burning From Inside Out.....help

I put this post in General health but havent gotten any responses, so I thought I'd try here.

Im a 39 yo stay at home mommy w/ 3 toddlers... and i have MS. Im on Rebif and cymbalta.

My 4 yo came home from school with a cough a few weeks ago and has passed it to all of us. We all have this hacking, weezing cough and congestion on and off since. We actually get this quite often.

Recently I have also been expieriencing a burning sensation in and on my head. Its really weird to describe plus a pressure? headache. This is all at my hairline back and moves around. This has happened once or twice.

This evening I started sneezing several times ...stop....blow. Few minutes later it repeats. I thought oid never stop sneezing!!!! Then I started coughing so badly I couldnt catch my breath. Then I would think it was over and i would take a deep breath and it started all over.

When it started to slow down I went outside and laid down on my lounger. My coughing seemed to be getting better except for a few coughs here and there. As I tried concentrating on my breathing I became more aware of the burning sensation in my head, behind my ear and then in my right armpit and right breast/chest. My ribs, jaw line, my Right arm all with pressure but not excruciating pain....just really uncomfortable.

Overnight I kept on with the burning, achiness all over. Everytime id move id wimper. My cats seemed worried. This am same thing

I feel like IM BURNING FROM THE INSIDE OUT!!!!!!!!!!!

Do I call neuro? I have an appt for later this afyernoon at a clinic n town (RN practioner)

Mommy,
I'm sorry to hear you're feeling so bad. I dread when one of my boys catches something because I know eventually it'll hit me. I don't know what you're experiencing but it's good you're going to the clinic and maybe they'll give you something or tell you whats wrong. You might just want to call your Neuro and also tell him/her what's going on.

I have been dealing with low blood pressure/high pulse, dizziness and headaches and went to my regular PCP but he also wanted me to call my neuro because it could be my meds that's effecting me. So today I spoke with my Neuro's nurse about my symptoms hoping that the Neuro or PCP will help me.

I truly hope you feel better soon and hope they figure out what's going on with you. Please update us with what's going on and how you're doing.

Monique

I bet that the RN will be able to help.

I hope that it goes well.

Sure sounds like you got one of the "bugs" .

If the RN does not help, then get to the neurologist ASAP.

Gosh, Mommy! it sounds like the kinda neuropathy that my neuro has described to me before! I've had...itching in places, like wake up clawing at my neck...and burning sensations too. I email or call my neuro with EVERY new symptom I have, as clinical presentations seems to be the most accurate in determining what is going on with us.

my vote is let your neurologist know about this. Neurontin worked to quell my itching and burning, took it for a while, but symptoms abated so haven't taken in a couple of years.

hope the Nurse practioner is able to help today too

If you've got a cold, is it possible that you have a fever?

Fevers can trigger psuedo exacerbations. If I were you, I'd call the neuro and I'd probably also call a regular doctor. The neuro can tell you if you're having a real exacerbation or a psuedo...and the regular doctor can check you out and can prescribe something for the cold and can tell you what to take if you possibly have a fever.

I ended up leaving a message for my neuro.

There was a two hour wait at the clinic (even tho I had an appt). Needless to say I was not happy.

She ended up giving me a decongestant and cough medicine and inquired about all my bruising. I explained it was from my shots, then she asked if i go to church and believe in GOD???????

My neuro's office called in a Rx for steroids.

So really have no clue whats up. Hopefully the meds will work. And this burning pain goes away.

Will keep yall posted. THANKS

You're serious? I hope you told her that's probably not what the "burning" sensation's all about (unless there's something you haven't told us)..
Hope the meds work and you're feeling better soon (and no spontaneous combustion now, ya hear?)..
