The tread on Atlanta or Nashville got me thinking... some comments about doctors that were GREAT! and some that were rude and condescending
![]() I see Dr. Khurram Bashir in Birmingham, Alabama at the Kirklin Clinic their MS clinic does research and clinical trials and Dr. Bashir is WONDERFUL!!! If I email him either he or his nurse call me (they use to be able to email me until the darn hippa stuff started ![]() all the staff there take time with you--all you need! I've never felt rushed, they listen, encourage questions, and when I am there, he makes me feel like I'm important, special, and he listens! The nurses listen and take time with you too. The MS Neurology Dept. use to be run by Dr. John Whitaker. He was killed several years ago putting ALL of his patients on Dr. Bashir's roster. Even during that time he never made me feel like he was in a hurry, though his caseload had doubled! so... making a list of GOOD neuros: 1. Khurram Bashir, Kirklin Clinic, Birmingham, Alabama will edit and add good and start 'Bad' if we get responses here ![]() ![]()
