I don't have anything else to add except to call your neuro and scream MAKE THIS STOP! LOL. It is so exhausting when you can't get a symptom under control. :( I really hope you feel better soon Cheryl.

Cheryl, you've been tested for infection, especially a UTI, right? Of course a virus (like you have) can set things off too, but it just occurred to me that your MS symptoms are very similar to what I was/am recently going through with this bladder infection.

sorry you are dealing with this, as am I. I am on lyrica and klonopin and am gonna ask about my doses when nero the neuro calls, i do find elevating it helps, and of course staying off of it, easier said than done. Hope you get some positive feedback on your meds hang in there:hug::hug::hug:

Yes, it was negative. Thanks for the reminder. ;)

I have had this horrible cold which, as I said, is probably the biggest factor in what I am going through right now. I seem to be getting better, the cold that is, but the symptoms have yet to subside. I know, I know, I am impatient!

Cheryl - I'm sorry about all of this. I went through something similar for a couple of weeks. While I was dehydrated and my electrolytes were off a little bit, the culprit was a wicked sinus infection that I didn't realize I had. Two days on antibiotics and I was feeling so much better. Just something to think about.

I "use" to have some bad cramping until I started taking "Natural Calm" it is a magnesium type supplement and worked for me to relieve cramping and spasms. I do NOT take it every day, just when I start having cramping problems. Also found that making sure my Vit D levels were good helped.

sure hope you get this resolved, Av8

Hi Cheryl, just checking today to see how you are.

Whatever bug you have just does not want to leave.

Do you think that this might be the same bug you had
this past winter and it was just dormant and with all the running
around you have been doing it brought your resistance down and
the darn thing is paying you another visit.

Did the dr. in the winter ever check to see what type of
virus or bact. you had? If he did maybe they can test now and see
if it is the same. I had a type of bact. bug in me years ago and for
about 8 months I had problems on and off.

They kept trying different antibiotics and finally found the
one that killed it.

I hope you find out what is going on. That it is finally
driven out.

Jappy

I forgot what other's suggested, and am too lazy to read this thread in detail again :p, but have you/can you try Amitriptyline? It's often used for treating shingles, as well as a number of different types of pain.

Cherie
