Why don't ya'll start a "pen collectors with MS" social group here on NT!! :D

Looks like you already have several people who would love to become members!!

I'm sure AMN can tell you how to get it up and running!! :p

Ohhhh Kelly...

Are you double dog daring me? *lol* I would do it to! The best part of the expo.. the pens..are FREE!! My two favorites:

1. pens
2. free stuff

My husband used to work in the pharmacy at the hospital (now he's in IT), and he would bring home tons of pens every day (along with stickies, clocks, coasters, etc.). But they are those big fat pens, and I cannot write with those. So when I go to my MS support group, I used to bring pens and pass them around!! Now that he is no longer getting these pens, the fun is over. :(

I have a ton of Rebif pens. Well, OK, not a ton but we have about 12 of them from the MS Walks we have done. They are always giving away free stuff at the walks including food!

A magnetic closing pen on a string? Now that sounds kewl!

I am so glad you had fun and got lots of free stuff to boot!

I love the fat pens. I find them less taxing for carpel tunnel issues. I also like the ones with the rubber that is cut in and out so it feels flexible.

Glad you had a good time Monique! Glad you could cheer up your tysabri friend. Most people seem so happy to be on it!!!

Bwaahhhaahaaaahaa, I was there also, and I actually went up to some lady who I thought might be you Monique...t'weren't, though, ;), unless you were playing games. :D

We only stayed for the first session and the lunch, dh was taking notes for me because I couldnt understand/hear much and his notes were lookin' pretty sparse, lol.

Glad you got a copy of that book, I did also and found some interesting tips.

I was really surprised that Copaxone was was the only DMD represented today, had hoped to talk to some Rebif reps and see what they had. Oh, well.

Gosh.. now you're taxing my brain b/c I'm trying to remember now if I saw you. I had a ponytail so my hair wasn't like it is in the picture. I went to the Immune session first and then the 'let's talk about MS' after lunch.

Copaxone/or the company that makes it was the one that sponsored the event *lol* so I KNOW they weren't going to let any of the other DMDs there...but I did wonder the same thing why the other companies weren't around. But they probably said, we'll sponsor the event but we're going to be the only drug therapy there.

Next time we'll have to meet up! If I would of known someone from the board would of been there.. I would of been so happy :(

I'm glad you decided to go, Monique!

This will make you fall out of love with me:

*choke, sniffle... sniffle*

Well, the truth is... *honk* ...I'm a pen snob. :Sob: It all started when I was the recipient of the graduation gift of fine writing instruments. It wasn't my fault! :Bawling:

I've tried to kick the habit, honestly, I have!:o

I have a thing for linen and cotton paper too. :Bawling::Bawling::Bawling:
