Default The Burn

[SIZE="4"]I have been experiencing the most terrible tingling and burning in my arms, legs and feet. So much that it is interfering with my sleep. Last night was really bad and didnt get to sleep until around 2:00a.m. What do others do or what has your Dr. prescribed?

I was having restless leg symptoms that was annoying me at night. But, I'm anemic so I just decided to take Slow FE Iron..and I don't have the jumpy leg feeling at night. I also take Baclofen for spasms right before bed..10mg. My left side is numb and I guess any tingling or numbness with that I just live with.. by the time I go to bed.. I am out cold.

Hi! Good to see you posting here!

I take baclofen and neurontin. It helps but doesn't completely take away the pain. My arms and legs can really hurt sometimes - usually when I'm tired and trying to sleep.

I usually take 20 mg of Baclofen and 600 mg of Neurontin. It makes me loopy but I don't know what else there is to take.

Like HereKitty, I take Neurontin 300 mg during the day and 600 mg at night. 600 mg does make me sleepy but hey, it's bedtime anyhow. I have been taking it for years and for my neuropathic pain, it has become my best friend. I cannot imagine what things would be like for me if I didn't take it.

Dr did add Lyrica at one point but that didn't work for me.

Word of caution and from experience - don't put ice on it. I tried that once during a flare and it made the pain worse. Lesson learned the hard way for me.
