Default OT Survivor update

Well I thought I was going to watch an episode last night. But it did answer one question. I always wondered what happened to the players that were voted off. When they did an interview of the eliminated players, you could see that they were on some kind of island. They were cleaned up, had clean hair and different clothes on. So do they do there to clean up and have a good meal and have a physical before going home or do they stay there until the show is over so people at home can't know that they were booted off the island?
