Default Ice Cube Headache

This is a rarity for me...But I did occur today....I was able to free myself from it with the Butalbital....It was The same sensation you get while you eat ice cream to fast.....But this was on the top of my skull to the right side...

Has this type of headache occurred in any one else.....

My other half talked to the Doc today....He wants to see me on Wednesday..Next Wednesday..Tasha did tell him I quit the Dr's so he is leaving it up to me whether or not I keep the appointment...

I think its nice that they let me believe I have leverage.....How sweet

Anyhoo...Is that headache normal.......Or if I give in and go should I add that to my sx' log?

Hey Pete! I HATE headaches and I'm not too fond of the ice cream sensation ones either. I think you should keep your appt, esp if it happens again.

I have had similar pain, but when it happens, it hangs on. I usually have to go to bed (w/meds) to relieve it. Oh, I hate those thumpers!!!

Feel better.

I get those kinds of headaches, I get them on the top of my head. I have had all kinds of awful headaches and didn't have a clue on way I was getting them and pain pills didn't work. It wasn't until after my DX of MCS and getting rid of the chemicals that my headaches got better. But I would have headaches that would last 2-6 months (yes, MONTHS) at a time and than I would only be headache free a day at most.

I havent had one of those headaches for a long time. Probably the last time I had one was around the time I got diagnosed in early 2007. (had a lot of weird MS carp going on then...moreso than now)

I really HATE those headaches. Almost as much as I hate migraines.

THANKS....Its back....This time its the ice cube headache////the top of my head has that numb asleep feel........I truly do not like to get worked up and nervous....The first time this happened to me was July 19th last year...Thats when they found the lesions.......

I will keep the appointment......The weird pain freaks me some...The sensation variation really freaks me out.....I don't want to take the Butalbital now...I'll never sleep......

All these trials and tests......I am just glad I found you folks again.....

I am going to say something wicked corny....

But finding you folks and me having these troubles kinda make me feel a little safer....Knowing that I am not alone....And the only bad advice on the board probably comes from me....

I may be goofy but I love you folks......Thanks for taking me in and remembering me...
