Default Rebif....

I was sick last week while in the hospital and I wasn't able to take my rebif shot because it lowers the immune system to not be able to fight infection.Well needless to say I got out of the hospital on Thursday of last week and I haven't taken my shot since.I don't feel like I got the flu and I tell you I can tell a complete differance.I am going to talk with my neuro on August 7.But I like the me not taken the shot as opposed to taking the shot.Anybody else decide to not take the DMD and if so have you progressed quicker or noticed a differance?

None of the CRAB medications lower the immune system, they modify it's response to the 'T cells'. Try to go back to doing the shots, the side effects do get much better.

Two weeks off of rebif (after nine months) and I was a normal human being again. That was some horrible stuff IMO. Much worse than any of the symptoms I get from my MS. In all honesty I would rather be blind and in a wheel chair than feel as lousy as that stuff made me feel. Two months into copaxone (after 2 bouts with ON - bad as it is the bif seems to work) and I'm feeling pretty good. Some joint and muscle aches but my thinking is normal. I swear the rebif made me stupid...er.
