Default Sometimes this disease really is a pain...

Literally, I usually take Vicodin during the day because the spascity gets so bad. I ran out about a week ago, PCP prescribes about 36 per month...I'm sure he will increase when I go Thursday.

Last night after two hours of sleep I woke up from the pain...and I take Ambien to sleep. I spent over an hour in the hottest bath I could stand to help relax the muscles, sleep about 30 min while soaking.

Today, I have my GS, promised to take him swimming...don't know how I can but I will...promise is a promise. It takes everything I have in me to just move, the pain is that bad.

So today my lil darlins...say a prayer, not so much for the pain to go away...but that I can find the strength to do all that has to be done.

Laundry
Dishes
Beds...you know the usual everyday stuff.

Thank you my sweets cause I know you will.

Patricia, Sometimes this is a pain. Your GS is lucky, all my thoughts go out that you can do what you do. But take care of you when you can. You deserve to.

Take it easy, relax while your GS enjoys his day with his Grandma...
can you possibly get a massage? It might help.

Positive thoughts coming your way...

I'm prayin' for ya, Momma . Why don't you skip some of the eveyday stuff like making beds (just shut the door...it's easier ), laundry etc. I just 'hired' my son's girlfriend to do my floors, wipe down the cabinets etc. She works cheap as long as make dinner . You have one lucky grandson .

Thank you all, I know I can always count on the people here! Well, he decided he didn't want to go swimming after he asked if I was still hurting. This child is 5 yrs old and gets it better than the adults! lol

I did fix a low country boil, fried shrimp with the usual fixings and his mom and dad came over to eat...they all just left. He is coming back tomorrow, he thinks he should 'live' with me at least two days a week...most times he spends the night and will stay for three days if we let him. lol

I did get the dishes done...now I got to do it all over again. lol The laundry he helped put in the washer(front loader) and got most out of the dryer. He also has a little broom and dust pan he uses to sweep the floors and he knows how to use a mini dust buster.

He will dust, clean out the bathtub...he refuses to touch a toliet however...he says people pee in there he ain't touching it. lol
I will get through tomorrow and then go Thursday for my appointment. I am still thankful that I can do a lot of things I know others can not. Some days are just harder to get it done, but that's ok...it will get done eventually.

Can't handle massages...way too painful...I do use a couple of things to help. I have a Shitasu full back massager and have some mini massagers you can wear while doing activities...

I don't complain often but it has been rough the past several days...even my DH noticed I was walking weird. lol

This too shall pass...
faith
humor
dignity

three things to get ya through.
