One pillow. High quality down, it can be like many pillows as my needs for support change in different positions.

When the back spazzes are bad, I add a couple for my legs and between my knees.

I confess that I have a down pillow designated to travel, one for bed, one for recliner (the only place I can sleep with vertigo), and one for the couch.

There is also a huge 3ft square pillow my mom made for me that has a loose filling that is shapable. It's almost 33 years old and has been a mainstay in my arsenal all that time.
